it’s been pretty darn long!
It’s been a while since the last time I managed to find the time and more importantly of all the mood to write in this blog. Pretty darn long really. Life has been full of surprises, some good, others rather awful. However it’s a Sunday afternoon, I’m listening to my favorite essential mix (Blame Feb/10) LOUD, I’m having the 5th frappe of the day and feel like I’m melting, due to the unexpected heatwave that has hit Britain. I cannot focus on work at this precise moment in time and I thought I’d seize the moment and share some loose thoughts with you all. I love, love, love a summery England! Nearly as much as Greece.
The last few weeks brought various changes in my life. On the positive side and contrary to what people are saying about recession I’m (thankfully) stacked with work. Both in and out of work which is doubly good. I have been working very long and weird hours but I’m planning to take July/August off freelance projects, unless it’s client support of course.
On the personal front I broke up with my b/f of 4 years, which was pretty unexpected & surreal tbh. Still, life goes on and for the first time in my life I can do literally whatever the flock I want. I’m free, financially independent, I do not have to prove anything to anyone and I can make any decision I want, take whatever opportunities might arise. I’m planning to enjoy this feeling while it lasts. As well as making the most of it.
At the moment I’m looking forward to going to @media in London this June, an event I enjoyed immensely the first time around. Especially looking forward to the Boagworl Big Breakfast even if it’s a bit early in the day! In August I’m planning a trip to Greece for 2 weeks and then, hopefully, Barcelona at the end of September.
A few things are happening at the moment, I’m working on a few different projects at the same time so this means I will be updating the portfolio soon, showing off my last few “babies”. I’ve been working constantly on stuff but have barely taken any time off lately to do anything else.
The previous entry’s lemonade is starting to taste more and more like gin & tonic on a hot summer’s day. Refreshing, cold, the bubbles of the tonic tickling your nose and the alcohol making you slightly tipsy! Happy Summer everybody!
Because at this moment in time to me it feels like the summer is here and it might actually turn out OK.

Baby, no matter what, it’s summer.
Go with the greek approach and bother about things after September ;)
i will!
I might even go on strike too! :P
Glad you are enjoying the summer! Now get the summer theme back up on the blog, it’s not autumn now :P
I ended up here looking for Cufon examples and noted your taste for D&B! I listen to Bassdrive.com nearly everyday at work while building websites.
I’ve been looking for an Essential mix (Blame Feb/10) download but couldn’t find it. Any chance you could hook a fellow basshead up?
ps. nice portfolio
To me it looks like you are missing our country a bit too much lol! The picture says all.
