So many things so little time
Another random post of disjointed thoughts, after a long hiatus. But this morning I felt the need to blog a bit before starting my day.
So many things are happening lately. Gaming has gone on a low for the last few weeks and my development fever has gone up. I’m having fun with ruby on rails and expression engine, both on a personal and a professional level. My sketchpad and my notepad are bursting with notes and ideas. I’m working on a few things all at the same time and feeling quite content.
I’m making so many plans and trying to fit them in my few spare hours. I am enjoying learning all these new things and refining old ideas and practices. This site is about to change yet again. I’m quite tempted to redeploy on RoR. But I don’t think I have the time. It might be a little autumn project.
On the other hand I am dreaming of Greece and the beach like every year around this time. I had a pleasant surprise this morning in the form of an email from Greece which made me feel a bit homesick but happy. How little things can change your mood dramatically…
The weather is shite so that doesn’t help it just makes me want to go to Greece even more. But it looks like I won’t be able to make my annual pilgrimage back home this year due to prior commitments, unless a little miracle happens. So do say a little prayer for me. It might help.
Oh well, back to work…
