The last few weeks I have been trying to finish the rebuilt of this site from the ground up. I’ve been working hard, planning every little detail from the structural stuff, the data modeling, the visuals and starting to put together the database and the css and xhtml for the templates.
I find myself however having to overcome many obstacles, with the biggest one being the fact that when I get home from work I’m absolutely mashed and trying to make sense of things is quite often very difficult. We are having a great time at work with many new projects coming in like the floodwaters in June. Each one of them is a challenge and we all seem to be giving our best.
Giving that much though leaves very little energy for creativity and thought when you are back at home. Plus I need and more importantly want to spend some time in the real world, where relationships and life also require attention and 100% commitment.
So slowly I am making progress and I hope to have this site live again very soon. I hate seeing the white holding page in the root. I hate interminably “under construction” sites. I don’t want this site to go live at Christmas when I’ll probably have more time to play and geek out.
Like in the past I am once again wishing to find more hours in the day. Or maybe clone myself.
