Today I handed in my notice at work and at the same time started looking for a new home. The next four weeks are expected to be very hectic as I leave ‘Ull behind and move on to Sheffield and a new job. But that’s a totally different post, for a very different time. It’s a couple of days since my return to the UK after spending 2.5 weeks in Greece with my family and friends. Today I managed to sort out through the few hundreds of photographs I shot on my phone while I was there and as a result I am feeling very homesick. This feeling only exacerbates the weird mood I’ve been since I’ve come back. While every other return to the UK has been marked by homesickness, this time even my own home doesn’t feel like home. I feel like a stranger…...
