The plan was…

… to [finally] finish this website this weekend. Although I am pretty much done there are still quite a few things to do, css tweaks, content to upload, images to crop etc etc. I made one critical error though and that was saying to myself that “I will do a quick tidy up in the flat and then get down to work”. 48 hours later I just about managed to look at the site, so tired that I can hardly keep my eyes open.

I cleaned and scrubbed and dusted and hoovered till my feet & arms hurt, I painted and redecorated the bathroom and in the process got to know I have muscles in places I could not imagine from all the stretching to reach corners and ceilings. I woke up this morning and I could barely get out of bed from the ache in every muscle but continued to the end. I rearranged furniture and threw out bags of flyers and newspapers and letters and cds and as a final touch put up the xmass decorations.

I am now sat here trying hard to stay upright and feeling slightly guilty I went so off track with my plans for the website. However the clean smells and the way the house looks and feels make it all worth it. After all I can now work without interruptions to finish of the site and not keep thinking of the dust and the washing.

Now off to bed [after a quick look around the house to admire it once more :P]
