As a geek a lot of my playtime involves my mac and I don't mean solely WoW. Here you can find previous incarnations of this site and some other things I've done for pure pleasure.

After many years using Wordpress as my publishing platform of choice, I decided to rebuild the site using ExpressionEngine core. The timing coincided with my changing jobs. When I joined bluestorm I started using EE a lot and I was fascinated by it’s robustness and flexibility. Thus I decided to give it a go on a personal project and see what I could do with it, without the restrictions of a spec.
I actually ended up liking this incarnation of the site enough to keep it running unchanged for a couple of years.
Always inspired in my theme names (not) this one is called Whitebow because, well it’s white and it’s got the colors of the rainbow :P All decisions of making this design where semiconscious. I just wanted “open space” and “light”. I knew I wanted to play with UFO and sIFR and maybe some javascript effects and I really also like the general feel of the “Rainbow” theme. So the result is a mash-up of styles and technologies and of course loads of color.
This black based theme is called “Rainbow” and uses loads and loads of colors as accents. Each main section of the site is color coded using the color it has on the menu bar. There is also a bit of transparency which is not supported by IE [of course].
I have a dream that all my websites will one day exist in a Web where they will not be judged by how they look and behave in each browser, because all browsers will follow the same standards and display them the same.
This is my hope. With this faith in Web Standards and Accessibility for all people and devices we will be able to make a better Web. With this faith we will be able to transform the jangling discords of the browsers to a beautiful symphony of design, functionality and content. With this faith we will be able to work better, to play better, to struggle less, knowing that all devices will treat our work equally & with respect.
